While I'm bummed that I've been working between 30 and 40 hours each week since school ended, I'm partially thankful because I wouldn't be doing ANY work. As it is, I'm still on my school schedule which includes SBUX, research, novel-reading, and little to no sleep. I'm kind of okay with this.

On the other hand, I would really like to be reading all day long. I'm halfway through Atwood's Oryx and Crake which I adore. Utterly adore. But is anyone surprised? I've also been getting some great recommendations from some guy friends and I'm dying to pick up the books at the library. I should like to own all of the books that I'm reading, but my bookshelf has run out of room and I don't think my bed back home could handle all of them, either. Library it is.

I should also read some of the books that I actually DO own. I bought out Bookman's Women's Studies section a while ago and have only given the books cursory glances. Ah well. Around late July, I'll probably start on Chaucer or Beowulf, just to be ahead for next semester. Because I'm a nerd like that.
