A Great Not!Fall Break
My siblings had fall break this week, and I kind of did too. It has been nice so far.
Drake came over to my parent's house and we played Risk....for five hours. I won. Actually, I epically beat his ass. Kind of. We botched our game, and I happened to last the longest. :)
Mom and I went to the East Valley NaNoWriMo event tonight which featured Michael Stackpole (the author of about seven Star Wars novels) who talked about writing fast and writing well. That was fun, but I had a mid-lecture-crisis where I decided not to do my previous idea (Charli's Demons) and go for the re-do of my older story. And this story is close to my heart; I have the "feeling" about this story, as in I think it might be "the one" that gets published. I tried very hard to convince myself that I wouldn't do it again in NaNoWriMo...but I can't stop thinking about it. So...I'm gonna go for it. Now I have to decide if I'm gonna blog it...
Right now I'm attempting to do my Latin homework and read for my Human Event class. After that, I'm going back home to see "Where the Wild Things Are" with the family. I am SO excited. Maybe I should finish my homework and go to bed...
