Yesterday was a bit of a nightmare, what with waking up at 5:30 a.m. to get prepped for school and then going out with a guy who was much cuter on the internet and less socially awkward there, too....

I was happy just to veg out on the couch with Gary and Illyssa watching "27 Dresses" and "Dangerous Beauty" (which I was SO happy that they liked...).

Apparently it rained pretty hard here in Ahwatukee, too, and my patio is all kinds of filthy, as is our patio furniture. Eh. I'm not gonna clean it. Not until it's officially done raining, anyway.

So now I'm attempting to do my English homework, which is turning out to be a lot harder than you would think. (I only have to write two paragraphs on an author's rhetorical strategies and I'm stuck on the first sentence. Granted, I haven't written anything in a few months...but this shouldn't be so difficult. I used to be so closely acquainted with words like "diction" and "syntax" and "pathos". I'm sure that I'll get my groove back someday...sometime...some way.)

After work tonight, I'm going home! Yay! :) I feel as though I haven't been eating very well....maybe pasta isn't quite as balanced of a meal as I thought...
