Screams "Desperate, desperate, I am really desperate!"

Sorry. Sassy Gay Friend is my new favorite phenomenon. Anyway, just trying to make it to the end of this week partially unscathed and with...moderate grades. Spring Break will be mildly relaxing, if only for the lack of homework and ton of reading that I have to do.

Scratch that, I have a paper that will be due the Tuesday that I come back. But it's a short paper, so I'll just bust it out and that'll be that.

The poems/short stories/novels are due for the contest next Friday...and I don't know how I feel about what I'm submitting. Might as well try, right?

I saw Alice in Wonderland twice this week, and greatly enjoyed it. I loved that the politics and historical references were played up, although the War of the Roses didn't ever really involve Scotland, to my knowledge. The Rising of the North, however....*Shrugs* I guess that could have been what the writers were going for. Anyway, the movie was fun to watch, the visuals were stunning, and the acting was magnificent. The only way in which it was lacking was really Alice...who was just kind of lame as a character. And had her hair flying all over the place. Not her fault, but still.

In other news...Avenue Q on Sunday. Can't wait.
