According to quite a few scholars, there's a masturbation scene in Wuthering Heights. Yep. There's an academic essay published about it, too, called "Entering the Heights: Lockwood and Catherine's Diary". You can't make this shit up.

So we talked about that for a little while (we're only to chapter nine of that yucky novel, so there isn't much to talk about yet) and then I went to Canadian Lit and we talked some more about sex. :D My professor also gave me two more books to read by Margaret Laurence for my honors contract (to write a ten page paper on a topic of my choice). I also kept her after class to talk about medieval holy women (that's what she normally teaches) and we had a nice moment together talking about religion and crazy people.

I really really like her. I hope I get to take another one of her classes.

In other news, I cleaned a lot today and got some laundry done. I didn't get as much homework done as I would have liked, but it's manageable for now. Nothing to worry about.

I do need to finish Candide, however....
